Father And 2-Year-Old Daughter Die In Birmingham House Fire
A man entered a burning home to save his 2-year-old daughter, but both died in the blaze.
BIRMINGHAM, AL — A man and his 2-year-old daughter died in a house fire in Birmingham Sunday. An Alabama Media Group report said the incident occurred around 4 a.m. in the 4200 block of 8th Ave. North.
Shaun Sanders, 38, reportedly ran into the burning home to save his daughter, but both were killed in the blaze, according to al.com.
A firefighter and a 10-year-old child were injured in the fire as well.
