Over the weekend, a trap was set to capture the pigs. Early this morning two of the pigs were captured in the trap. The third has not yet been located. The pigs were not wild but were formally domesticated animals that had been dumped or had escaped.
The Sheriff’s Animal Cruelty investigator will attempt to locate the owner of the animals. Paperwork will be filed with the courts if no one comes forward to claim them so that they may be adopted out in approximately 45-60 days.
