BIRMINGHAM, AL - The high school football regular season is beginning to wind down, as teams jockey for playoff positions in the final weeks of the season. This means some urgency for some teams still looking to improve their playoff resumes.
This week in 7A action, Thompson hosts Hewitt-Trussville in a battle of top 5 teams. The 6:30 Friday game will be televised on ESPN2, and fearures two of the state's top quarterbacks in Tnompson's Taulia Tagovailoa and Hewitt's Paul Tyson.
