Football Playoffs Round 3: Keep Up On The Patch Scoreboard

Several Birmingham-area teams are still alive in the quest for a state championship, so follow along with the Patch Scoreboard.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - The Alabama High School Athletic Association football playoffs have narrowed the field down once again, as just a handful of teams are now left to battle for the state championship. Among those teams are some of the Birmingham metro's best, still alive in their quest for a championship.

Pinson Valley is still alive in its quest to repeat as 6A state champs, as the Indians take on Homewood, while cross-town rival Clay-Chalkville faces Oxford in quarterfinal action. Ramsay is still alive as well, facing Greenville, while Thompson and Hoover make up the marquee match-up in the 7A semifinals.
