Foul Play Suspected In Fatal House Fire In Huffman Area
A fire Friday morning at a home in the Huffman community left one victim dead and another hospitalized.
BIRMINGHAM, AL — A house fire Friday morning in the Huffman area of Birmingham resulted in the death of one victim and the hospitalization of another victim. Birmingham Fire & Rescue says foul play is suspected.
The incident occurred just after 4 a.m. Friday on East Haven Drive. A woman was found dead after a sweep of the home by firefighters, and a man was found with serious injuries, according to Birmingham Fire & Rescue.
The condition of the injured man, who was taken to St. Vincent's hospital, is unknown.
