Fourth Of July 2019: What's Open, Closed In Birmingham
Some services will be closed in Birmingham for the Fourth of July through the rest of the week
BIRMINGHAM, AL - As families across the country celebrate the Fourth of July with fireworks, barbecues and days off of work, many services will also take a break for the holiday. With Fourth of July falling on a Thursday this year, some services will be closed in Birmingham on Friday as well.
All state offices will be closed July 4-5, except for those areas that are essential to maintain personnel, according to Gov. Kay Ivey.
Federal offices will be closed July 4, and open July 5.
