Georgia Burglary Suspects Caught In Jefferson County
A police chase that spanned multiple counties ended in Bessemer with two arrests, and a search for a third suspect.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — A police chase that spanned multiple counties in Alabama ended in Jefferson County Tuesday morning, as three robbery suspects from Georgia were finally stopped in Bessemer.
The suspects are accused of burglarizing Healthmart Pharmacies in Georgia. A report from the State Troopers office said the chase began in Cleburne County.
Two suspects are in custody after the vehicle was stopped at the Dollar Tree off 9th Avenue in Bessemer, and a third suspect is still at large.
