Georgia Man Dies In Motorcycle Crash On Interstate 59/20
The 45-year-old man was visiting family in Birmingham for Thanksgiving, and died in the crash early Friday morning.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - A Georgia man who had reportedly been visiting family in Birmingham for Thanksgiving died in a motorcycle crash early Friday morning. Michael Lavon Johnson, 45, was on Interstate 59/20 when his motorcycle crashed into an interstate barrier, and he dropped to the street below.
According to Alabama Media Group, the crash happened at 4:21 a.m. Friday on Interstate 59 southbound near the 22nd Street Exit. Coroner’s officials said Johnson lost control of the motorcycle, He struck the barrier and was ejected.
