HAZMAT Crew Responds To Situation At UAB Helipad
HAZMAT crews arrived at UAB hospital to help with a patient injured in a meth lab explosion.
BIRMINGHAM, AL - The Birmingham Fire Department responded to a HAZMAT situation at the University of Alabama hospital's helipad Thursday night, prompting concern in the nearby community.
Reports from ABC 33/40 said the HAZMAT unit arrived at the helipad upon the arrival of a medical helicopter carrying a patient injured in a meth lab explosion.
