High School Football Playoff Brackets Set
Several Birmingham-area teams continue their seasons into November as the playoffs are set to begin.
BIRMINGHAM, AL - Call it "the second season," or "the next step," or the "road to the championship." Whatever anyone wants to call it, the playoffs are upon us for Alabama high school football, and some of the best football in the state can be found in the Birmingham metro, as 20 teams in the area made the playoffs.
Playoff games begin in Birmingham Thursday night, with Tarrant hosting Colbert County. The remaining games will be played Friday.
