Hurricane Michael: More than 12,000 Without Power In Alabama
Thousands of residences and businesses are still without power as Hurricane Michael descended on Alabama and Florida's last week.

BIRMINGHAM, AL – More than 12,000 homes and businesses have lost power in southern Alabama following the havoc Hurricane Michael unloaded on the panhandle last week. The outages were reported at 10:24 a.m. Saturday, according to data from poweroutage.us which aggregates live power outage data from utilities around the country.
The U.S. death toll due to Hurricane Michael is at least 17, according to CNN as of Saturday morning.
