BIRMINGHAM, AL - The Jefferson County Sheriff's Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating an overnight hit and run that killed an adult male pedestrian in Center Point. At about 10:30 Thursday night, deputies responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle at Carson Road and 16th Terrace Circle NW. They arrived to find an adult male suffering critical injuries. The vehicle that struck him had left the scene.
