JeffCo Sheriff's Office Investigating Missing Persons Case

A Center Point man is the subject of a missing persons investigation by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is investigating the disappearance of 20-year-old 20-year-old Joshua Malik Norfleet of Center Point. On December 11, deputies were called to a residence on Tammy Sue Drive in Center Point to investigate, as Norfleet had not been seen since December 9.

Family members reported that he was last seen when he left his grandmother’s home in Bessemer to go to the bank. He left driving his grandmother’s 2012 gray Hyundai Sonata bearing Alabama license plate 1CT7781.

Norfleet has not shown up for work or had any contact with his employer or family since he left. He is described as a black male 5’10” tall and weighing 180 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
