Jefferson County Sheriff's Narcotics Unit Makes Arrest In Leeds

After a two-month investigation, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office made a big drug arrest in the Leeds area.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit made a significant drug arrest after an extensive investigation. Terry Odell Burrell, 34, was arrested Monday and charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance.

Monday, the Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit served a search warrant at a residence in the 7600 block of Henry Ellen Drive in the Leeds community after a two-month investigation.

The search warrant yielded 29.55 grams of heroin, 62 grams of marijuana, 3.21 grams of MDMA, 18.6 grams of cocaine and 18 grams of methamphetamines. Burrell has no bond on the distribution charge and additional charges are likely.
