Jefferson County Sheriff's Office: Missing 4-Day-Old Baby Found Safe

The baby who went missing around 2:00 PM today from Fairfield has been found safe.  He has been reunited with his family.  The family and the Sheriff’s Office wish to extend their sincere gratitude for all of the help in locating the child safely and quickly.  “From tips, social media shares to prayers and positive words, we want to thank you all for helping to create a wonderful ending to a stressful situation,” said Deputy Chief David Agee.

The investigation into the baby’s abduction is still ongoing.  Details of the criminal investigation will be released at a later time.
