Jefferson State Community College: Weevil Wars 2021

The Jefferson State Debate Team entered two students into the Weevil Wars Debate Tournament on October 9-10, and both made it into elimination rounds. Twenty colleges and universities attended this IPDA tournament hosted by The University of Arkansas at Monticello. Debate Captain Jacob Davidson was a semi-finalist in the Junior Varsity Division and VP of Communications Blake Denney was a Quarter finalist in the Novice Division. Team members Emmy Rains and Kylie Jordan provided support by judging and researching.
