BIRMINGHAM, AL - The high school football season enters the home stretch this week, as the season has passed its halfway point, and there are still a handful of metro Birmingham teams still unbeaten. That may all change this weekend, with some interesting match-ups between local teams.
Mountain Brook hosts Thompson, which could be a game that knocks the Spartans from the ranks of the undefeated. Jackson-Olin looks to stay unbeaten as they travel to Helena, and McAdory looks to remain undefeated as they take on Hueytown and one of the best running back in the state in Roydell Williams.
Other key games this weekend include Hoover at Vestavia Hills, Oxford at Clay-Chalkville, Pinson Valley at Pell City and Briarwood at Ramsay.
