Keep Up With Football Scores On The Patch Scoreboard
Several key match-ups are this week, including a slate of games scheduled for Thursday night.
BIRMINGHAM, AL - With several schools taking last weekend off, the coming week features a much larger slate of football games in the Birmingham metro. The Alabama Sports Writers Association polls show that some of the best football in the state is being played right here in the Birmingham area.
Key match-ups this weekend include Mountain Brook taking on Oak Mountain, Fairfield playing Parker, Shades Valley battling Clay-Chalkville, Hoover playing Tuscaloosa County, Thompson hosting Spain Park and Hewitt-Trussville visiting Vestavia Hills, among other regional action.
Five of the ASWA 7A top 10 teams are in Region 3, and four of the teams in the 6A top 10 are in the Birmingham metro. See the 7A and 6A polls here.
