Kickoff For Alabama Game Against Ole Miss Delayed
A severe weather threat from Hurricane Delta has pushed back the kickoff for Alabama's game against Ole Miss in Oxford Saturday.

OXFORD, MS — With the threat of severe weather in Mississippi looming due to Hurricane Delta, the game between Alabama and Ole Miss in Oxford will start later than scheduled. A report from the Mississippi Clarion Ledger said the game will begin at 6:30 p.m., rather than 5 p.m.
"This decision was made with the safety and wellbeing of our student-athletes, staff and fans as the priority," Ole Miss athletics director Keith Carter said in a statement. "I appreciate the cooperation of the SEC, Alabama and ESPN in changing the start time, and we will be prepared to make any other necessary operational adjustments to ensure a safe gameday environment. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those that could be impacted by this storm."
The game will still be broadcast on ESPN as originally scheduled. Limited fans will be allowed in the stadium and gates will open at 4:30 p.m.
