Legendary Coach Bobby Bowden Tests Positive For Coronavirus
Former Florida State football coach Bobby Bowden has tested positive for coronavirus at age 90.

TALLAHASSEE, FL — Former Florida State and Samford University football coach Bobby Bowden has tested positive for the coronavirus, according to a report from WBRC. Bowden is 90-years-old.
Bowden told a FOX affiliate in Tallahassee he tested positive while in the hospital last week.
Bowden, a Birmingham native, played football at Howard College in Birmingham, which later became Samford University. Bowden then coached Howard from 1959-1962 before becoming an assistant at Florida State, then head coach at West Virginia University.

Bowden took the Florida State head coaching job in 1976 and stayed at the helm at FSU until 2009. He won two national championships and 12 ACC championships.
