Legion Field Stadium, Park Closed Aug. 21-22

BIRMINGHAM, AL — The Legion Field Stadium and the west side of Legion Field Park will be closed for a public safety exercise for a couple of days this week.

Wednesday, August 21, from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Thursday, August 22, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.,
residents may see emergency vehicles and observe drones operating in the area as part of the exercise.

Public safety officials will photograph and video record the exercise, including via the observed drones and body-worn cameras. All drone and body-worn camera footage will be destroyed upon completion of the exercise.
