London Music Publication Features Alabama Band

A local Alabama band was featured by one of London's oldest music publications, New Musical Express.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - Once again, Birmingham's growing music scene has made news beyond the city and state. This time an international publication, London's premier music magazine, New Musical Express, has jumped in on the action. Birmingham's Lady Legs, one of the city's up-and-coming bands, was featured by NME Monday.

The publication, which has been in circulation since 1952, features a song on social media every Monday, dubbed "New Music Monday" and this week featured Lady Legs as its selection, with the song "Bottomless Pit."

NME introduced the song on Twitter, saying, "Lady Legs' jangly new indie tune 'Bottomless Pit' will make you feel like everything is going to be okay."
