Man Dies After Being Shot In East Birmingham
A gunshot victim died en route to the hospital after being involved in a shooting in east Birmingham Wednesday night.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - A 39-year-old man who was shot in east Birmingham Wednesday night died while en route to UAB Hospital. The victim has been identified as Ronald Grant Jr. of Birmingham.
An Alabama Media Group report said the incident happened around 9:15 p.m. in the 4000 block of 43rd Avenue North. Officers responded to the area on a domestic disturbance call and upon arrival, located a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

Grant was reportedly was involved in a physical altercation inside a home before he was shot. A suspect was taken into custody at the scene.
