Man Dies After Shooting In Birmingham's Roosevelt City Community
One man is dead and another victim injured after a shooting in a west Birmingham neighborhood.
BIRMINGHAM, AL — A shooting in the west Birmingham neighborhood of Roosevelt City has left one man dead and another injured. The shooting occurred around 1 p.m. Monday, police said.
Sgt. Johnny Williams of the Birmingham PD said one man with gunshot wounds was taken to UAB Hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. Another victim was shot in the hand and is expected to recover.
Williams said no suspects are in custody.
