Man Dies From Gunshot Wound In East Birmingham
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified the man as 24-year-old Carderius Terrell Ware.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - A shooting in east Birmingham Wednesday afternoon claimed the life of 24-year-old Carderius Terrell Ware. The incident occurred just before 4 p.m. on 3rd Avenue South, off Oporto-Madrid Boulevard.
A report by Alabama Media Group said Birmingham police officers and Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service responded just before 4 p.m. to a house in the 7500 block of Third Avenue South, and authorities said Ware was pronounced dead on the scene from a gunshot wound to the head.
The initial information from police was that the wound was possibly self-inflicted. Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates said an autopsy is scheduled for Thursday and it has not yet been determined how Ware was shot.
