77-Year-Old Man Found Murdered In Bessemer Home
A family friend arrived at a man's home to find him dead. Police are investigating the death as a homicide.
BESSEMER, AL — A man was found dead in his Bessemer home Tuesday after a family friend came to his home to check on him. Police are investigating the man's death as a homicide. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as David Clifton Harper. He was 77.
Harper was found in his home located on Dartmouth Avenue. Police said they do not know how long he had been dead before the friend came to check on him.
An Alabama Media Group report said once police investigated the scene, they determined it was a homicide.
