Man Injured In Pratt City Shooting
A man was shot in the back in Pratt City Wednesday afternoon, and remains hospitalized.
BIRMINGHAM, AL - Gunfire broke out in Pratt City Wednesday afternoon, and a man was shot in the back during the commotion. The victim remains hospitalized with serious injuries. The incident occurred around 4 p.m. on Avenue U in the western part of the city.
A report by Alabama Media Group said the shooting happened in a residential neighborhood, and police indicated the shooter fired from near the stop sign at Third Street and struck the victim who was several houses away. The shooter fled the scene.

A short time later, police received a report of another shooting nearby, but were not able to locate a victim.
