Man Killed In East Birmingham Shooting
An argument escalated into a shooting that has left one man dead in east Birmingham Thursday morning.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - A 19-year-old male was shot and killed in a home in east Birmingham Thursday morning after he pulled a gun on another person with whom he was in an argument. The incident occurred just after 1 a.m. on Tucker Avenue.
According to a report by Alabama Media Group, the victim, James Chapman, and the suspect got into an argument over recent burglaries that happened at the home. During the altercation, the Chapman reportedly pulled out a handgun and the suspect followed suit and shot Chapman.
The name of the suspect has not been released and no charges have been filed at this time.
