Man Killed In Hueytown Industrial Accident

HUEYTOWN, AL — A man died in an industrial accident at a business in Hueytown Friday. The incident happened at 11:53 a.m. at Precoat Metals on Davey Allison Boulevard.

According to an Alabama Media Group report, the worker died when he became pinned between two large steel coils.

The victim’s name has not been released, but police said he was an adult black male. He was pronounced dead on the scene. No additional information was immediately released.
