BIRMINGHAM, AL — A 23-year-old man was shot and killed Monday afternoon while inside his vehicle. The incident occurred just before 5 p.m. in the 200 block of 48th St. North.
Sgt. Rod Mauldin of the Birmingham Police Department said officers found Cordae Mollette unresponsive in the vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
