The highest rain chances will be in the eastern two-thirds of the area, so those areas will see the best chance at these storms, but any storm this afternoon will have the potential to be strong to severe. The weekend forecast seems to be more of the same, with morning thunderstorms expected for Friday and Saturday, and scattered thunderstorms throughout the day Sunday.
