Masked Gunmen Sought In Birmingham Home Invasion

Four masked gunmen reportedly burst into a home in southwest Birmingham Wednesday morning and stole several items.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - A woman in southwest Birmingham reported that four masked gunmen entered her home and stole several unspecified items Wednesday morning. Birmingham police are currently investigating the incident.

Officers from Birmingham’s West Precinct responded just before 11 a.m. to a home in the 600 block of 15th Street S.W., according to a report by Alabama Media Group. The victim told police the armed group somehow got into her home through locked burglar bars on the door, possibly with a key. Once inside, they stole a number of undisclosed items. No injuries were reported.
