Missing 22-Year-Old Woman's Body Found In Bessemer
The body of Crystal Vasquez was found near some railroad tracks in Bessemer over the weekend.

BESSEMER, AL - The search for 22-year-old Crystal Vasquez came to a tragic conclusion Sunday when her dead body was discovered by some railroad tracks in Bessemer. Vasquez’s death is unclassified for now, and there were no obvious signs of foul play according to police.
A report by Alabama Media Group said family members were out searching for Vasquez when she was found dead on Grant Street near Eastern Valley Road Sunday afternoon. Vasquez was reported missing to Birmingham police on March 6. Her body was discovered about 3:45 p.m, and Bessemer Police Chief Mike Roper said he doesn’t know why the family was searching for her in that area.
