Missing Birmingham Woman Has Been Located

A 63-year-old Birmingham woman, missing for more than a week, has been found alive and well.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - A 63-year-old Birmingham woman, who has not been seen since the forst week of December, has been located, and reports say she is alive and well. Vannessa Thomas Powell had no communication with her family for more than a week, and had not reported to work since December 6.

A report by Alabama Media Group said Powell was last seen that day leaving her home in the 400 block of 86th Street South.

Police did not reveal any further information surrounding Powell's disappearance, only that she was located on Sunday and seems to be in good health.
