Missing Teen Girl Found In Birmingham
Law enforcement officials located an 18-year-old Midfield girl thought to have been abducted.
BIRMINGHAM, AL - A girl thought to have been abducted in Midfield has been located in Birmingham after a search by multiple law enforcement agencies. The girl's mother reported that the 18-year-old was possibly kidnapped from a shopping center in Midfield Thursday, but the girl was found later in the afternoon at an apartment complex in Birmingham.
According to a report from Alabama Media Group, the mother of the teen observed some men in a car trying to get her daughter to get into their vehicle. The girl refused and made it home, but disappeared later in the morning.
Midfield police and Birmingham police were able to track the girl's cell phone to the apartment complex. One person is currently in custody for questioning.
