Missing Woman Located; BPD Still Searching For Missing Man

One of the people missing in Birmingham in unrelated cases has been found, while police still search for a missing man.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — The Birmingham Police Department have been working two missing persons cases Thursday, and one has concluded with the subject located and unharmed. Both were reported missing since Wednesday morning.

A 42-year-old Birmingham woman, Taneice Rice, who reportedly suffers from dementia, was last seen in the 1500 block of 41st Street, Ensley at approximately 7:10 a.m. on Wednesday. Rice was located in the Five Points West area and has been returned home to her family. She is reported be fine.

Still missing is Terrance Datcher, 39, who was last seen at approximately 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11, near #19 52nd Street North. He suffers from schizophrenia.

The Birmingham PD asks that anyone who may have information on the whereabouts of Datcher contact Birmingham Police at 205-254-1757.
