Mother And Daughter Injured In Fairfield Shooting
A mother and her daughter were shot in Fairfield Monday night, and a suspect is in custody.
FAIRFIELD, AL — A woman and her adult daughter were shot in Fairfield Monday night, and the woman's husband has been arrested in connection with the shooting. The incident occurred in the 900 block of 39th Place just before 10 p.m.
Sgt. Joni Money of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said deputies arrived to find the injured women with non-life threatening injuries. The 42 year-old suspect, Darrick Ansel Dunlap, was taken into custody without incident.
Dunlap is being held at the Jefferson County Jail in Bessemer on two counts of domestic violence. His bonds total $20,000.
