On National Nacho Day, Where Are Birmingham's Best Nachos?
Patch lists Birmingham's best places to get nachos, as we celebrate National Nacho Day.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - Monday, Nov. 6 is National Nacho Day, if you did not already know. Although stories differ on the exact the origin of nachos, a general consensus is that they were first marketed in the United States 1976 by Frank Liberto, owner of Ricos Products, during sporting events at Arlington Stadium in Arlington, Texas. It was in Texas where Howard Cosell, then host of Monday Night Football, tried them while broadcasting a Dallas Cowboys game, and - in modern terms - the concept went viral after Cosell talked about them on the air. So, if nachos is what you crave, Birmingham's rich culinary scene has what you are looking for if you are inclined to celebrate the special day.
