New CEO Named At Grandview Medical Center

BIRMINGHAM, AL — Grandview Medical Center has named a new CEO after the promotion of current chief Drew Mason to regional president at Grandview parent Community Health Systems. Effective Jan. 1. 2021, Daniel McKinney will take over as the hospital's CEO, according to a Birmingham Business Journal report.

McKinney comes to Grandview after two years as CEO of South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in Foley. McKinney is a native of Birmingham and he received his bachelor’s degree in health care management from the University of Alabama and master’s degree in health administration from the UAB.
