New Extended Stay Hotel Opens In Birmingham

BIRMINGHAM, AL - A new extended stay hotel has opened in Birmingham, bringing in a fresh take on the extended stay concept. Home2 Suites by Hilton Birmingham Colonnade is now open for guests at 3290 Colonnade Parkway.

Part of Hilton's All Suites portfolio, the 107-suite hotel is designed for travelers who want to maintain their normal routine. This new hotel addresses a need that has been voiced by many civic leaders urging Birmingham to provide more infrastructure in the form of lodging and hospitality ahead of the World Games in 2021. The Colonnade location is the second Home2 Suites location in Birmingham, with the first located downtown near Regions Field.

According to the Birmingham Business Journal, the pet-friendly hotel offers an array of amenities such as complimentary internet access and daily breakfast, in addition to an outdoor saline pool, fire pit and grill area. Suites come with fully equipped kitchens and modular furniture guests can move to suit their tastes.
