New German Restaurant Opens In Lakeview

BIRMINGHAM, AL - A new restaurant has opened in Birmingham, adding to one of the South's most vibrant culinary scenes. Brät Brot, a restaurant serving German fare, has opened on 6th Avenue South.

According to a report from the Birmingham Business Journal, the restaurant serves lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch.

The lunch and dinner menu includes items such as pretzels, bratwurst, Jackfruit Boudin, leberwurst spread, schnitzel fingers, and Bavarian potato salad. Its "Birminghamburger" consists of beer cheese, bacon, arugula, pickled onion, and smoked mayo on a pretzel bun.

Brät Brot's operating hours run from 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
