“We are tremendously excited about our location in downtown Birmingham,” said company CEO Michael Maddox in a release. “This new store will give Birmingham residents a place to get healthy, high-quality goods and products without leaving the city limits.”

The store will be only the second large grocery store to open in the downtown area, after Publix opened in February of 2017. With more people moving into the downtown area in recent years, the need for more grocery shopping options has been growing.
