Pedestrian Struck And Killed On Bessemer Super Highway
A woman was hit by a vehicle while crossing Bessemer Super Highway Saturday.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — A woman died after being struck by a vehicle while she was crossing Bessemer Super Highway Saturday. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office identified the victim as 57-year-old Karen Jean Hickley of Birmingham.
The incident occurred in the 4700 block of Bessemer Super Highway near Brighton. Officials said the driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and cooperated with law enforcement.
