Police Search For Male Robbery Suspect Who Dressed As Woman
A male suspect who reportedly dressed as a woman when he robbed a CVS store in Birmingham is being sought by police.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - A male suspect is being sought who police say robbed the CVS store on Clairmont Avenue in Birmingham while dressed as a woman.
According to a report by Alabama Media Group, police say the suspect is believed to be a black male dressed as a female, wearing a striped dress and a wig covered with a baseball cap. Police reports say the suspect may be responsible for similar CVS robberies in Birmingham, and a Rite Aid store on Ensley Avenue. There were no injuries during the crimes.

The Clairmont CVS incident occurred July 14, authorities said. The suspect calmly walked into the store just before 6 p.m.and handed the clerk a note demanding money.
