Police Searching For Driver Of Car That Struck 2 Women
A driver of a red car that intentionally struck two women in a McDonald's parking lot is being sought by police.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - Two women were intentionally struck by a car in the parking lot of a McDonald's restaurant Wednesday afternoon. The driver of the car has not been identified.
The incident happened at approximately 2:15 p.m. at the McDonald's on Dennison Avenue. Witnesses said one of the victims spit on another woman and then the driver of the woman's car deliberately crashed into the two victims.

According to a report by Alabama Media Group, the two women struck by the car are mother and daughter. Both women were taken to the hospital by ambulance. The daughter, who was wearing a McDonald's uniform, had injuries that are not life-threatening. The mother's injuries are reportedly much more serious, but she was conscious when she left the scene.
A man was in a laundromat at the adjacent Heritage Center when he came outside to find both front-seat windows shattered by gunfire. Police are trying to determine whether that incident was linked to the dispute.
