Possible Double Murder In Fairfield, 2 Bodies Discovered In Car

Two dead bodies were discovered in a car in Fairfield in what police say might be a double murder case.

FAIRFIELD, AL - The discovery of two dead men in a car in Fairfield have police investigating a possible double murder. The victims have been identified as Deshawn Ferrez Jackson and Tre’Vion Alexander Marks.

An Alabama Media Group report said the discovery was made at 8:37 p.m. Wednesday in the 6600 block of Tensaw Court. Fairfield police and fire medics responded after receiving a 911 call. Police say Jackson was in the driver’s seat and Marks was in the passenger’s seat. Both were pronounced dead on the scene at 8:58 p.m.

Authorities said there was some damage to the vehicle, and there was also evidence of a shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
