Ravens Rookie Marlon Humphrey Arrested In Tuscaloosa
Former Alabama and Hoover High school football star Marlon Humphrey says arrest is a 'misunderstanding' over a phone charger.

TUSCALOOSA, AL - Baltimore Ravens player and former University of Alabama and Hoover High School football star Marlon Humphrey was arrested in Tuscaloosa on robbery charges. According to reports from The Tuscaloosa News and sports talk radio personalities in Birmingham, Humphrey has been accused of stealing a mobile phone charger at approximately 2 a.m. the morning of January 13.
The arrest report shows Humphrey is being charged with Fourth Degree Theft of Property. Sources say the incident involved Humphrey taking a phone charger out of an Uber vehicle, and the vehicle driver pressing charges.
Morning sports talk show host Jay Barker said on social media, "From a good source with knowledge of the situation, they are saying that Marlon accidentally took a phone charger from an Uber driver’s car when he got out and now driver has filed charges. May be more info coming but this is what we are hearing right now."

Humphrey, 21, was booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail Thursday and released around 10:30 a.m. after posting 10 percent of a $2,500 bond for the felony charge.
