Remodeled Aldi In Crestwood Open For Business
The Aldi grocery store on Crestwood Boulevard has been remodeled and unveiled its new look Wednesday.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - A local grocery store just got a facelift, and customers were able to see the store's new look Wednesday for the first time. The Aldi store at 7580 Crestwood Boulevard has been undergoing a complete remodel over the last few months, part of an initiative by the company that will remodel more than 1,300 stores nationwide.

“With this investment in our Birmingham stores, what we’re really doing is investing in ALDI customers,” said Troy Marshall, Mt. Juliet division vice president for ALDI. “We look forward to giving people who already know and love ALDI – as well as new fans – an even smarter, faster and easier grocery shopping experience.

The new design features open ceilings and natural lighting, as well as environmentally friendly building materials. Another remodeled store, in Homewood, opened in April. The company is investing a total of $14 million in 13 Birmingham area locations by the end of 2019.
