Roy Moore's Son In Legal Trouble Again

The Republican U.S. Senate nominee Roy Moore's son has been arrested in Gadsden.

ETOWAH COUNTY, AL - Caleb Moore, the son of Republican U.S. Senate candidate Roy Moore, is in trouble with the law again, as he turned himself in Monday on the charge related to an arrest last year when he was accused of hunting without permission and hunting over bait. Etowah County Sheriff's spokeswoman Natalie Barton said Moore was also charged with third degree criminal trespass. He was released on $1,000 bond.

This is not Moore's first brush with the law. He has reportedly been arrested nine times in the past, but not convicted of any crimes. He was arrested in 2015 on a drug charge in Troy, but the charges were dropped when he agreed to enter a pre-trial diversion program. He has also faced charges of driving under the influence in both Alabama and Florida, and three drug-related arrests in Baldwin, Pike and St. Clair counties. After Moore's 2015 arrest, he claimed the charges were phony and were politically motivated. Moore, who will face Democrat Doug Jones in a December 12 election for Jeff Sessions' senate seat, has not commented on the incident.
