Second Suspect Arrested In Death Of Former Mountain Brook Student
A second suspect has been captured and arrested in connection with the murder of a former Mountain Brook High School basketball star.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - Just a few days after police arrested a man for his involvement in the murder of former Mountain Brook High School student Terrell Guy, a second suspect has been captured in connection with the shooting. The U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force took 21-year-old Steven Michael Crawford into custody, charging him with capital murder, along with Joseph Curtis Moore, who was arrested December 15. The incident occurred Dec. 10 at HighPointe Apartments on Valley Avenue after what authorities believe was a gambling dispute.
According to a report from Alabama Media Group, was captured after an extensive manhunt and cooperative effort my multiple law enforcement agencies. Crawford was captured in Cleveland, Alabama with the aid of a Warrior Police Department tracking dog team and the Blount County Sheriff's Office.
Guy was a high school standout during his senior year, sending the Spartans to the 2015 state championship with a last second three pointer. He was also named MVP of the Class 7A, Area 6 tournament at Mountain Brook High School, as well as to the Class 7A Northeast Regional All-tournament team at Jacksonville State.
